Finally managed to get gabbi working in a way that I wanted, largely due to help from @FND clearing my mind.

The slope on that is:

• make it do actual http requests
• make it take a wsgi app as an arg for the endpoint of the requests

There's slope on the puppet-redis stuff as well: same as yesterday.
