While trying to explore the ceilometer and tempest tests I simply fell into a morass of confusion. Rather than helping to show me how the system works they just obscure the entire thing.

For example the API tests have no evidence of any HTTP in them. It is incredibly bewildering and disorienting.

It makes it very hard to find any entry points, or otherwise get traction to do something, anything.

I think for my own sake I'm going to have to write some demo tests in the style that I like to feel better.
