has at least 2 of ... unilateral, pulsating (not with heartbeat), moderate to severe, causes avoidance of normal routine
has at least one of n/v or photophobia/phonphobia

No other diagnosis is found if suggested by Ix or other Sx
in kids shorter lasting, bilat and GI Sx are more common

Migraine with aura - easier to diagnose (1 in 3 pts)
Aura - progressive, occuring hours prior to headache and may last >30mins
normal features - scintillating scotoma (jagged crescent), transient hemianopia, sensory Sx, (speech disturbances)
double vision is NOT part of aura
