In early infancy, was the child "as good as gold" or extremely fractious, or "average"? 
Was the child a baby who liked to snuggle in or were they not keen on being held? 
Did you have any concerns about the ages that the child learnt to sit, crawl, or walk? 
When sitting, would the child look up at you and raise their arms to be picked up? 
When you were sitting on the settee, would the child crawl over to you and try to climb up your legs onto your lap? 
Would the child point at objects and then look at you to attract your attention to them? 
Would the child follow your pointing when you pointed at objects? 
How would the child get the message across if they wanted something? 
How does the child get the message across now? 
If the child led you by the hand, did they usually look from you to the object and back again, or did they use your hand as a tool to get objects usually without much eye contact?

Does a particular aspect of a toy or object (the wheels of a toy car) overly fascinate them?

Is the child frightened or upset by particular noises that are not necessarily loud (such as the vacuum cleaner or washing machine), or by particular objects for no apparent reason?
