tiny red telangiectatic spots which form scale and are hard to remove and if removed leave painful bleeder, 
may be better felt than seen, usually well demarcated, may be diffuse, found on sun exposed areas, men>women esp if fair
many resolve but 1%/yr undergo malignant transformation - pt with numberous lesions - 10% over 10yr will get SCC esp with ongoing sun or immunosuppression
Mx - sun protection, cryotherapy, topical diclofenac (Solaraze) or 5FU (efudix), C&C, photodynamic therapy
5FU - useful for diffuse but can cause soreness (use with steroid?)
